Terms and Conditions
Last updated 14 June 2026. These terms govern your use of anern.mu and any estimate, quotation, sale or installation by Anern (Mauritius) Ltd ("Anern"). By using the site, requesting an estimate or placing an order, you accept these terms.
- Online estimates. The estimate tool gives indicative guidance only - it is not a quotation, offer or commitment. Figures for system size, price, generation and savings are based on limited information and standard assumptions and may differ materially from a final quotation. A binding price is given only in a written quotation after a free site survey. We accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on an estimate.
- 2. Quotations and orders. A quotation is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A contract is formed only when you accept our quotation in writing and we confirm it and/or receive any required deposit.
- 3. Prices and payment. Prices are in Mauritian Rupees and, unless stated, exclude VAT. Quotations assume normal installation conditions; additional requirements found at survey or during works (structural, electrical, access) are agreed in writing before proceeding. Payment terms are stated in the quotation. Title to goods passes on full payment; risk passes on delivery.
- 4. Site survey and your responsibilities. You agree to give safe, timely access and accurate information, and confirm you are entitled to commission the works and hold any necessary consents. We are not responsible for delays or defects arising from inaccurate information or pre-existing faults.
- 5. Installation. Installation dates are estimates and depend on weather, supply, the CEB and third parties. We install with reasonable skill and care.
- 6. CEB net-metering. Where agreed, we prepare and submit your CEB application as a convenience. Approval, connection, tariffs and timelines are decided by the CEB, not Anern, and are not guaranteed.
- 7. Warranties. Goods carry manufacturer warranties (indicatively up to 25 years on panel performance and 5-15 years on inverters and batteries), subject to the manufacturer's terms. We warrant our installation workmanship as stated in your quotation. Warranties exclude wear and tear, misuse, accident, cyclone, lightning, power surge, unauthorised modification, and equipment not supplied by us.
- 8. Performance. Generation and savings vary with weather, shading, usage and tariffs and are estimates, not guarantees.
- 9. Cancellation. You may cancel before procurement or works begin, less costs reasonably incurred. Your statutory consumer rights under Mauritian law are unaffected.
- 10. Liability. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or savings, and our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
- 11. Force majeure. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including cyclones, fire, flood, government or CEB action, and supply or shipping delays.
- 12. Website and intellectual property. Site content is owned by or licensed to Anern and may not be copied without permission. The site is provided "as is".
- 13. Data protection. We process personal data in line with the Data Protection Act 2017 of Mauritius and our Privacy Policy.
- 14. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
